the hussar hotel was a very easy place to find we were also aloud into our room early which help us out a lot as we had a wedding to go to. the room was lovely and clean with a very clean bath room . the only thing i could say was a lilttle bit poor was the metal beds not very well put together and a bit cheap. the full english breakfast in the morning was the best ever. we would staye again and tell friends aswell.

We didn't want to leave and would like to come again. The staff was good throughout the day. The hotel location was great and brilliant in a lovely pub run by lovely people. Plenty of food for breakfast, everything was delicious.

excellent service - friendly staff - nice rooms
booking service should make it clear that card payment will need to be paid at the hotel - despite taking card details on booking

Was staying here during practice days of The Open Golf. Negatives-Was a little intimidating checking in at the pub as it was quite busy and we weren't acknowledged. We werent told about Scaffolders that woke us up at 730am the first night. Positives-clean room, good breakfast, outdoor area if you have kids.

Having recently had the pleasure of a weekend stay at the Hussar Hotel in Margate I would have no problems in recommending it to anyone who was requiring accomodation in the Thanet area. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging and the rooms were justifiably presented in the excellent manner as portraid on the website. The location is fantastic for getting in around the area, close enough to walk to town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.Only 5 minute taxi from either Westgate or Margate Railway stations. I would most definately stay there again, thanks David and Margo

A very relaxing and comfortable stay. We enjoyed the baby seagulls nesting outside our bedroom

Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble! Room very clean, comfortable & beautifully decorated, a home from home. Lovely breakfasts with a good choice of well-cooked food. Would certainly stay again.

Beautiful outdoor seating area, Live music entertainment, Accessibility features available
The noise from the pub and main road was quite disruptive at night!!! Room sizes felt cramped, and the dated decor definitely needs an update to improve the overall aesthetic!!! Please address the plumbing issues too!!!

The room was big with a double bed a single and a double sofa bed. So as a family of 4 with growing lads it was perfect. The toilet was separate from the bathroom which was handy.

Everybody was so helpful & kind. Nothing was too much trouble. I like my scrambled eggs in the morning, and they were perfectly cooked, each of the four mornings. Mother in law also enjoyed her meal there.

Noise level from the bar below was annoying at night, especially with karaoke until late. Room felt cramped with a small double bed, and the walk to the town center took about 30 minutes. No breakfast included, which I expected given the standard of the dining options. Ventilation was lacking, and the room had some signs of wear that could use attention, like rust on the bath plug.

The kind attention given to us by the lady (Manager?) when she cooked an evening meal for us as the chef was unfortunately not available that evening. It was very enjoyable.

The nearby Garlinge Village Fish & Chips was a proper gem, dishin' out the best battered bites that left us wanting more! The Walmer Castle Greek Taverna had scrumptious offerings that left me drooling. Plus, the staff here were really great, enhancing the experience.
Now, here's the cheeky bit, while the rooms weren't bad, they could feel a tad dated, and there was this old car outside with flat tyres , made the entrance look rough. Just a minor hiccup in an otherwise enjoyable stay!
